Starship Asteroid

Starship Asteroid is an arcade game where the player shoots lasers at asteroids and tries to survive.

I made the game by myself prior to going to college and to challenge myself to make a video game. All code, art, and sounds were made using GDScript, GIMP, and sfxr. I used Asteroids as a reference to make a video game on my own. Based on my experience of making this game, I learned how scripting, art, and sounds work together to make a video game.

The game is available on itch.io, and the source code is available on GitHub.
